Vale Ros Williams, OAM - Ros was a great mentor to us and many, advocating in a sensitive and sometimes fierce way to advocate for change in mental health and coronial systems. She will be sorely missed.

Vale Denis Strangman, AM - Denis also advocated strongly for improved recognition of carers and better mental health services, and earlier for services with the brain tumor community. What shoes to fill, and energy required.

Their legacies are not lost, as others continue to advocate for greater recognition and representation in mental health forums, policies and procedures. From their examples, lived experience should not be undervalued - these strong people advocated for their loved ones and more broadly for better recognition and services, and not without cost to themselves.
Please take care of yourselves in difficult times, reaching out where needed.
